Corralejo is the most touristic area in the north of Fuerteventura. It is on a 30-minute drive from the airport and the capital Puerto del Rosario. Because of the strong wind there are lots of (kite/wind) surfers coming to Corralejo.
Accommodations in Corralejo
You can choose between lots of sorts of accommodations like, hostels, hotels, apartments, houses, all-inclusive resorts, and villa’s (with or without private pool).
The prices for a three-star hotel in or near the centre are somewhere between the 45 and 100 euros a night for a two-person room. Family villas for six people cost between 100 and 400 euros a night during high season. You can find a nice all-inclusive resort for a price between 100 and 200 euros for two persons per night.
Surf camp Fuerteventura
If you have a small budget than you can stay in a hostel for the price of 15 till 20 euros a night per person, you will only have a bed in a shared bedroom and a shared bathroom. Most of these hostels are booked by surfers and they often have a surf school or surf rental inside or are working together with a surf school to offer you the best price.
Corralejo is extremely popular because it offers you everything you need on a beach vacation. There are nice city beaches alongside a promenade and there is a main street with lots of restaurants, bakeries and shops. Next to the main street you find the harbour from where you can take the boat to Lanzarote or Lobos island.

Other nice places to visit when you are on holiday in Corralejo are the Grandes Playas, Park Natural the Corralejo (sand dunes) and for kids there is the Acua Water Park.
When you like Corralejo and all its facilities but do not like to be in such a touristic area most of the time, you can consider booking an accommodation in one of the villages near Corralejo such as Lajares or El Cotillo.
