Rompeolas is one of the oldest restaurants in the area. It opened in 1975. Do not think its old school, because they have completely refurbished the restaurant in 2013.
Boutique hotel Avanti
Rompeolas is also one of the chicest restaurants in Corralejo centre. That is because this restaurant is the restaurant beneath the luxurious boutique hotel Avanti (adults only 16+). Where you have amazing beach style rooms with ocean view. Avanti hotel is definitely a good hotel for your honeymoon in Corralejo or a romantic weekend. The boutique hotel is adults only, but in the restaurant children are welcome. They have the option to get smaller portions for children.
Most of the menu of Rompeolas is seafood. You can guess that because of the location and the decoration. The bleu white theme works very well. The lobster is a must try, but if you do not like seafood than you can also go for the entrecôte or an ordinary hamburger. They will also help you to get some vegetarian options.
The waiters speak English very well, they are helpful and friendly. Most of the costumers are English couples.
Better make a reservation ahead because it may get busy. Especially if you want to sit on the terrace or at the window making a reservation is necessary. The terrace may get a little to cold in the evenings because of the wind.
The tiramisu here is really good, so if you like a desert than the tiramisu may be a good choice.

The prices are a little more on the higher side. But the same counts for the quality, the view, the decoration, and the service.
